Tour Plan
Day 1 : Pick up from Kigali - Transfer to Volcanoes NP (Musanze) + Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Visit.
Following your breakfast at your hotel/residence, our Dedicated professional guide/driver will meet you and brief you on this two days’ tour, thereafter drive to Musanze the home of Mountain Gorillas, on your way going you will be having time to discover, view Rwandan Landscapes. On arrival you will check in, and relax enjoying the lodge amenities. Later in the afternoon, you will the Ellen DeGeneres campus of Dian Fossey, this place is full of her stories and research work, and very interesting Gorilla conservation stories in this campus. Retire and return to the lodge. Evening at leisure. Dinner and rest.
Day 2 : Gorilla Trekking and Transfer back to Kigali - Departure.
You will have an early breakfast then proceed to the home of mountain Gorillas, the Volcanoes National Park headquarters – Kinigi to meet your guides for the day. After completing park formalities, we are embarking on a once in a life time experience of trekking mountain gorillas. Once you spot them you are allowed to spend an hour watching them closely do their daily activities. After your experiences you will then be transferred back to Kigali with a drop off to your hotel/residence or proceed with a last-minute souvenir shopping in the city then depending on your flight details, drive to the Kigali international Airport for your outbound flight back home.
